MIDAS AND THE GOLDEN TOUCH STORY

long long ago lived a king called Midas.He was a very wealthy personality and tends to had more gold than anyone in the world. He stored up golden coins  in huge vaults underneath his palace and spent many hours each day, handling and counting his treasure.
But no matter how much gold Uncle Midas possessed, he was never contented. He always wanted more gold as he spent much of his time dreaming about how to obtain still more of it.
Just by surprise,one day, he attracted his crave; a being dressed in white apparel appeared to Midas and granted him a wish. King  Midas unhesitating, wishes for the “golden touch”- that everything he touched would turn to gold. And the deal was sealed.
The next morning when Midas woke up from his bed, he found that his plain linen bed covers had been transformed into a finely spun gold! He gasped in astonishment and jumped out of his bed. Then he touched the bed and it turned to gold. ‘Its true” he muttered in his confused state ‘I have the golden touch”
He rushed through the palace, brushing against walls and crafted furniture’s, all of which turned gold at his touch. Out to his garden, he went from one flower to another, trees and even his pets and other animal creatures touching and smiling as they turned gold.

THE FOUR FRIENDS AND THE LION STORY

Four friends were gifted in four different fields of magical expertise and they were very proud of their skills.Though the fourth one was not an expert like his friends but was very intelligent and careful.
One day the four of them accompanied one of their mate into the forest to carry out a research, as they were walking deep into the bush, they came upon the bones of an animal scattered around.

MORE TROUBLES FROM OUR KIND


A dog decide to embark on  a journey far from its usual home to sight see the country. A few days later he returned so tired and ecstatic, and his friends asked him to narrate his experience to them which he did, another asked him if he faced problems on the trip. He told them how he met with  too many people and animals along the way bidding him fare well. They did not create any disturbances but allowed him to go his own way.

THE THREE FOOLISH ROBBERS


 Three robbers snatched a box of money from a rich traveler who lost his way. They ran deep into the forest where nobody could trail them. Soon after the excitement the three became very hungry but there was no food in the forest. One of them  suggested he goes look for what they would eat and went to a nearby village to buy food. The other two remained in the forest to take care of the box of money.

THE ILLITERATE AND THE GOGGLE STORY



An illiterate village man who could not read and write, but often saw people wearing goggles for reading books, thought one day, “If I put on this kind of goggle  like these men, then I can as well read books. I must go get one for myself".
