After walking around for some time, she saw a river and was delighted to see it. She climbed up on a small rock to drink the water, but she slipped and fell into the river. She was drowning but a dove who was sitting on a nearby tree helped her. Seeing the ant in trouble, the dove quickly dropped a leaf into the water. The ant moved towards the leaf and climbed up on it. The dove then carefully pulled the leaf out and placed it on the land. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguneMraPzl2tIg04cV-ll2EchxzdLxyMplY43oroitmpwAGkTdZ-UEftRgM0rxhVIaaCCT5QPq2lyUk3d4su12ceiTiRe5N5OQB7jqaz59PqeYbPno683fqbb7vS9HHCweBDEUtGT2sTR4/s1600/cocroach.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="714" data-original-width="1023" height="223" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguneMraPzl2tIg04cV-ll2EchxzdLxyMplY43oroitmpwAGkTdZ-UEftRgM0rxhVIaaCCT5QPq2lyUk3d4su12ceiTiRe5N5OQB7jqaz59PqeYbPno683fqbb7vS9HHCweBDEUtGT2sTR4/s320/cocroach.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
A disturbing cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and sat on a lady at a restaurant. She started screaming out of fear.<br />
<br />
With a panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach.<br /><br />Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky.<br /><br />The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but… it landed on another lady in the group who continued the drama.<br /><br />The waiter noticed the hullabaloo caused by a thin cockroach and rushed forward to their rescue. In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter.<br /><br />The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt. When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant window.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
Watching the amusing scenario, my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, was the cockroach responsible for their exaggerated behavior?<br /><br />If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed? He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.<br /><br />I concluded its not the cockroach, but the inability of those people to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach, that disturbed the ladies.<br /><br />I realized that, it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but it’s my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me.<br /><br />It’s not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.<br /><br />More than the problem, it’s our reaction to the problem that creates chaos in our lives.storyroutedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09654025467325265505noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8365763475798963969.post-67745929439100586342018-01-08T03:33:00.001-08:002022-07-15T07:56:14.808-07:00THE MONKEY BUSINESS STORY<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Once upon a time, lived a lot of monkeys near a remote village.<br /><br />One day a very rich merchant came to the village to buy these monkeys! He announced at the village market square that he will buy the monkeys at $100 each. passers by villagers thought the merchant to be insane. They thought how can a reasonable person buy stray monkeys at $100 each?<br />Yet, some smart ones caught some monkeys and gave it to this merchant and he gave $100 for each monkey. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This news spread like wildfire and people caught monkeys and sold it to the merchant.<br /><br />After a few days, the merchant announced that he will buy monkeys at $200 each. The lazy villagers also ran around to catch the remaining monkeys!</div>
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />They sold the remaining monkeys at 200 each. Then the merchant announced that he will buy monkeys at 500 each!<br /><br />The villagers start to lose sleep! ... They caught six or seven monkeys, which was all that was left and got 500 each.<br /><br />The villagers were waiting anxiously for the next announcement.<br /><br />Then the merchant announced that he is going home for a week. And when he returns, he will buy monkeys at 1000 each!<br /><br />He asked his employee to take care of the monkeys he bought. <br /><br />He was alone taking care of all the monkeys in a cage. The merchant went home.<br /><br />The villagers were very sad as there were no more monkeys left for them to sell it at $1000 each.<br /><br />Then the employee told them that he will sell some monkeys at 700 each secretly. <br /><br />This news spread like fire. Since the merchant buys monkey at 1000 each, there is a 300 profit for each monkey.<br /><br /> Now guess what! The next day, villagers made a queue near the monkey cage.The employee sold all the monkeys at 700 each. The rich bought monkeys in big lots. The poor borrowed money from money lenders and also bought monkeys!<br /><br />The villagers took care of their monkeys & waited for the merchant to return. <br /><br />But nobody came! ... Then they ran to the employee...<br /><br />But he has already left too!<br /><br />The villagers then realized that they have bought the useless stray monkeys at 700 each and unable to sell them!<br />

A white bearded miser buried his gold in a secret place in his garden.

A young soldier walked up to a well adorn senior officer in the army and asked him "Sir, what is the secret of your success in the army?" I want to be successful too.<br />
The officer looked at the young soldier steadily for about 3 minutes and gave him a life threatening order. He gave the young soldier a cup full of water and told him to walk round the training field five times. He clearly told him that his life depends on it. That if a drop of water fall from the cup, another soldier would shoot him on the head. Four soldiers were strategically positioned to shoot him down once a drop of water fall from the cup.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Seeing how serious the whole thing turned out, he took the cup full of water and went out to complete his assignment. The young soldier carefully walked round the training field five full times without letting a drop fall from the cup. At the completion of the task, he returned the full cup back to the senior officer.<br />
When the man saw his commitment to preserve his life by not allowing a drop of water out of the cup, he asked him the following questions...<br />
<br />
Did you see those half naked girls dancing at the mammy market?<br />
<br />
The young soldier replied No<br />
<br />
Did you see those soldiers playing football in the field?<br />
<br />
The young soldier replied No<br />
<br />
What about those fighting across the other side of the field?<br />
<br />
The young soldier replied No<br />
<br />
Then, the officer looked at him and told him that if you keep focus on your task, you will succeed and also preserve your life. At that point, the young soldier left happily.<br />
<br />
Lesson:<br />
<br />
1. A lot of distractions will come in many beautiful colours on your path to success. How you deal with them determine how you will end.<br />
<br />
2. Success has a bitter price. You must pay it fully. There is no shortcut to success.<br />
<br />
Finally, those who distract you are the same people who will celebrate your failure if you eventually fail.<br />

German, British, and French soldiers, already sick and tired of the senseless killing, disobeyed their superiors and fraternized with "the enemy" along two-thirds of the Western Front (a crime punishable by death in times of war). German troops held Christmas trees up out of the trenches with signs, "Merry Christmas."</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 20.9524px; margin-bottom: 11pt; text-align: justify;">
<span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 11pt;">"You no shoot, we no shoot." Thousands of troops streamed across a no-man's land strewn with rotting corpses. They sang Christmas carols, exchanged photographs of loved ones back home, shared rations, played football, even roasted some pigs. <span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: 700;">Soldiers embraced men they had been trying to kill a few short hours before. They agreed to warn each other if the top brass forced them to fire their weapons, and to aim high.</span></span></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 20.9524px; margin-bottom: 11pt; text-align: justify;">
<span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 11pt;">A shudder ran through the high command on either side. Here was disaster in the making: soldiers declaring their brotherhood with each other and refusing to fight. Generals on both sides declared this spontaneous peacemaking to be treasonous and subject to court martial. By March 1915 the fraternization movement had been eradicated and the killing machine put back in full operation. By the time of the armistice in 1918, fifteen million would be slaughtered.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 20.9524px; margin-bottom: 11pt; text-align: justify;">
<span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 11pt;">Not many people have heard the story of the Christmas Truce. On Christmas Day, 1988, a story in the <i style="box-sizing: border-box;">Boston Globe</i> mentioned that a local FM radio host played "Christmas in the Trenches," a ballad about the Christmas Truce, several times and was startled by the effect. <span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: 700;">The song became the most requested recording during the holidays in Boston on several FM stations.</span> "Even more startling than the number of requests I get is the reaction to the ballad afterward by callers who hadn't heard it before," said the radio host. "They telephone me deeply moved, sometimes in tears, asking, 'What the hell did I just hear?' "</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 20.9524px; margin-bottom: 11pt; text-align: justify;">
<span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 11pt;">You can probably guess why the callers were in tears. The Christmas Truce story goes against most of what we have been taught about people. It gives us a glimpse of the world as we wish it could be and says, "This really happened once." It reminds us of those thoughts we keep hidden away, out of range of the TV and newspaper stories that tell us how trivial and mean human life is. It is like hearing that our deepest wishes really are true: the world really could be different.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #333333; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 20.9524px; margin-bottom: 11pt; text-align: justify;">

He dropped the insect in-between the circles, and immediately it began crawling towards the white circle. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This chap was super-excited and was thanking his maker.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But all of a sudden, as it got to the edge of the circle, it turned back and began crawling away from the white circle towards the black one. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The boy watched in fear as the insect progressively moved farther away from his desire to his doom.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Then, something happened. Just at a point where the insect was about to reach the edge of the black circle, this chap picked it up and quickly but carefully dropped it in the white circle. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The soothsayer in an abrupt manner, cut in; "why did you do that?" </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The boy answered aggressively and said "I cannot sit and watch my destiny doomed while I can still do something about it and to change its course, after-all my destiny is in my hands". </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He got up and left the scene.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">An idle monkey was resting on top of a coconut tree gazing the cloud. Nurturing a thought of doom. He said to himself “What would happen to me, if the earth will break? “. Suddenly, he heard a crack as if something was about to crumble."I just said it and its happening, the earth is breaking up”. He said to himself and hopped on another tree screeching and alerting other monkeys.</span></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> “What happened? A mother chimpanzee asked the bewildered monkeys running towards his direction "Where are you all going in such a hurry?". "The earth is breaking up, cant you see. You better run too”. A monkey retorted. The chimpanzee dragged her sucking infant and joined the cowards shouting “The earth is breaking up. The earth is breaking up, run for your dear life”. Soon, thousands of monkeys and chimps were on the run.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">On seeing the monkeys and chimps running through the forest, the other animals too got frightened. The news spread from mouth to mouth and soon, everyone came to know that the earth was breaking up. It didn’t take much time before all the animals joined the race. All creatures whether reptiles or birds, insects or four-footed animals, everyone was trying to escape as the forest became chaotic.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">A male lion standing on a hill saw all the animals running helter skelter and thought,” What is the matter? “. He ran down the hill rapidly and positioned himself in front of the crowd. He shouted at them, “Stop! Stop! ”. The powerful presence of the lion curtailed the rising wave of fright among the animals. A parrot yelled, “The earth is breaking up”, alighting on a rock near him. The Lion asked,” Who said it? “. The parrot replied, “I heard it from the hare". </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">When the hare were asked, they replied that they had heard it from the antelope. When the antelope were asked, it was found that they were informed by the chimpanzee up, they pointed one to another until the one, who started this menace was recognized.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The Lion asked the monkey, “What made you think that the earth is breaking up?” The monkey wavering in fear answered, “Your Majesty, I heard it cracking with my own ears”. The Lion investigated the matter and explored the sound that the monkey had heard. Ultimately, he came to know that the sound had been caused by a large coconut falling from a tree. The coconut fell on a pile of rocks causing a minor landslip.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The Lion hissed and said to all the animals, “Go back to your homes. The earth is absolutely safe. Next time you hear a rumor, confirm before acting on it”. The animals, which were now looking quite ashamed, went back to their homes.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Moral: sometimes its not the pain that makes you suffer, its your own negative thoughts that makes things seem worst.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Once upon a time in a certain place in Africa lived a king who owned two pets; a dog and a cat. Aside the kings guard, the cat and the dog were very useful to him. The dog had served the king quite some good years so he can be trusted with important errand, though very old. Cat the dog's companion was quite cunning but stronger and smarter.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The king had a daughter schooling at a convent some distance from home, and very often he sent the dog and the cat with presents to her.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One day he called the animals and sent them on an errand to convey a magic ring to his daughter.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"You hold the ring because you seem to be strong and smarter," the king said to the cat. </div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And to the dog he said: "You must accompany the cat to guide her and keep her from harm."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The two promised to do their best, as they embarked on the journey. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Unfortunately they got to a riverside and found no bridge or boat to take them across. the only option left, after much deliberation was to swim.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Let me take the magic ring," said the dog as they were about to plunge into the water.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"No, no no," replied the cat, in a rude manner "the king gave it to me to carry because he thought i'm smarter."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"But you cannot swim well," argued the dog. "I am strong and can take good care of it."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But the cat refused to give up the ring until finally the dog threatened to suffocate her inside the river, and then she reluctantly gave it to him because she was afraid of water.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The river was very wide that they soon grew very tired, and just before they reached the opposite bank the dog dropped the ring. They searched carefully, but could not find it anywhere, and after a while they turned back to report their lapses to their master.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On their way, the cat scolded and blamed the dog for his insistence and nagging behavior which led to the misplacement of the ring. The dog feared the blabbermouth cat would get him into trouble and Just before reaching the house, he however, turned as if he forgot something and ran away and never to be seen.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The cat went all alone, and when the king saw her peering and dragging her foot, he called out to know why she had returned so soon and what had became of her companion. The cat was afraid but spoke the truth, explaining every bit of the scene and how the dog ran away. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On hearing this,the king was very angry and ordered his guards and every other dog in the world to search out for the old dog and get it tail cut off as a punishment for his misdeed.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ever since this incidence whenever a dog meets another he asked aggressively: "Are you sure you are not the old dog that lost the magic ring? If so prove your innocence or else your tail must be cut off." Then immediately each shows his teeth and wags his tail to prove that he is not the guilty one.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Since then, too, cats and dogs have never been in good terms as they always accused themselves of being too forward .</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><span style="color: red;">Moral;</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><span style="color: red;">Together we stand, divided we fall</span></b></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYgp77VZDyxmnXYvofd0UGLYNxR3SeyFyvRKW4L9m4a35lRFLyYi4_HpLmL4yvonbtdheX4UtBSr7xtn5F137DXpiZVz3xtoZ6j2XLhHsYxPBBbhh-qBfWW2hVuqlbKN-ggCHzZoruulx8/s1600/ANGRY.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYgp77VZDyxmnXYvofd0UGLYNxR3SeyFyvRKW4L9m4a35lRFLyYi4_HpLmL4yvonbtdheX4UtBSr7xtn5F137DXpiZVz3xtoZ6j2XLhHsYxPBBbhh-qBfWW2hVuqlbKN-ggCHzZoruulx8/s1600/ANGRY.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A carpenter shut down his workshop after a day's job. A black wandering poisonous cobra entered his workshop.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The cobra was hungry and hoped to find its supper lurking somewhere within. It wriggled from one end to another and accidentally bumped into a double-edged metal axe and got slightly injured.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In anger and seeking revenge, the snake bit the axe with full force. What could a bite do to a metallic axe? Instead the cobra's mouth started bleeding.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Out of fury and arrogance, the cobra tried its best to strangle and kill the object that was causing it pain by wrapping itself very tightly around the blades.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The next day when the carpenter opened the workshop, he found a seriously cut, dead cobra wrapped around the axe blades.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The cobra died not because of someone else's fault but faced these consequences merely because of its own anger and wrath.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">Lesson; </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;"> Sometimes when angry, we try to cause harm to others but as time passes by, we realize that we have caused more harm to ourselves.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">For a happy life, it's best we should learn to ignore and overlook some things, people, incidents, affairs and matters.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">It is not necessary that we show a reaction to everything. Step back and ask yourself if the matter is really worth responding or reacting to.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">Always mind your decision when you are overwhelmed.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">A farmer once had two morose looking donkey by name paka and pola in his farm. He also owned a little pig that used to live with the Donkeys. Paka and pola used to work very hard in the farmer’s field while the fat pig goes around doing nothing. </span></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">One day, the farmer fixed his daughter’s wedding. He ordered his men to fatten the pig for the wedding feast. And since that day, the farmer’s men started feeding a rich diet to the pig.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Seeing this, Paka said to pola, “Brother, just look at the good fortune of this lazy pig! He is getting to eat all the delicious dishes without doing anything. But look at our live despite all the hard works we do in the fields, we get to eat only some straws and grass.”</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Pola replied, “Dear brother, do not envy the pig. He is eating the food of death. He is being fattened up for the wedding feast of the farmer's daughter. He would soon be slaughtered. Is it not better to eat dry grass and straws and live long than have a rich feast and get killed soon?”</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Moral;</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Comparison is the thief of joy; envy is the art of counting another's blessing instead of yours.</span></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuFqY1if80G_sOBVA8tEJWrx7re7L_o3Rso4oYwkWw8LJVLdbEc4kgfKB9dUxKub5Fy50c64k6TiF_xr6IDmUOXZZh_jAQ3oeO06LGSq1Z2njTMecyN8XJjezNH2Uz5g1s6VjcyLn-yV9P/s1600/elephant.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuFqY1if80G_sOBVA8tEJWrx7re7L_o3Rso4oYwkWw8LJVLdbEc4kgfKB9dUxKub5Fy50c64k6TiF_xr6IDmUOXZZh_jAQ3oeO06LGSq1Z2njTMecyN8XJjezNH2Uz5g1s6VjcyLn-yV9P/s1600/elephant.jpg" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
An elephant and a dog got pregnant at same time. In the space of 3 month the dog gave birth to six puppies. The dog took in again 6 month later and in the 9th month gave birth to another dozen puppies. The pattern continued.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On the Eighteenth month the dog proud-fully approached the elephant and questioned,<br />
<a name='more'></a> “Are you sure you are pregnant or just carrying the look of it? We became pregnant on the same date, I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs, yet you are still pregnant. Whats going on?”.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The elephant smiled luxuriously</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
and replied, “There is something I want you to understand. What I am carrying is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. When she crosses the road, human beings stop and watch in admiration, what I carry is mighty and draws attention. So don't you do any comparison because we are not mate anywhere.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">Lesson</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">Don't be haters of those that have success, don't be envious and do not talk them down if you haven't receive your own blessing from GOD.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">In other words,don’t lose faith when you see others receive answers to their prayers. Keep doing it right and at the set time it would blow up.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">Remember! men are in sizes, life is in phases</span></div>

Grandpa being extremely old and weak, while eating, dropped some food on his shirt and trousers. Other dinners watched him in disdain while his boy quietly clean up the food particles hanging on his mouth with his towel. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

When they turned out, the whole eatery was watching them in dead silence, not ready to handle how somebody could humiliate themselves openly like that. The son settled the bill and began exiting with his dad. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
All of a sudden, an elderly man amongst the dinners who could not keep it to him self anymore with the boys behaviours as he was pleased, called out to him and said " Young man, don't you think you have left something behind?'</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The boy answered, "No sir, I haven't". </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The man countered, "Yes, you have! You just left a lesson for every son and hope for every father". </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The eatery went quiet. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">Moral: </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors we could give back in return. We all know, how our parents cared for us for every little things. Love them, respect them, and care for them.</span></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinwzS3LmHSFbaeEnxe1w-XriyFqodUColOOSLVvKmZkiBLyy2fpgHvE7n9nm5pbATBH1ohOy_YJzqp111_FA2vZPQ8mdWktmqojmpE13R8a065HEoANbNk6qtLks5m_BpbhZEYZZ1agcWz/s1600/por.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinwzS3LmHSFbaeEnxe1w-XriyFqodUColOOSLVvKmZkiBLyy2fpgHvE7n9nm5pbATBH1ohOy_YJzqp111_FA2vZPQ8mdWktmqojmpE13R8a065HEoANbNk6qtLks5m_BpbhZEYZZ1agcWz/s1600/por.jpg" /></a>It was the coldest winter ever. Numerous creatures passed on as a result of the icy weather. The porcupines, understanding the circumstance, chose to bunch together. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This way, they secured and ensured themselves but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions even though they gave off heat to each other. </div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After a short while, they choose to separate themselves one from the other and in no time began to die in isolation and frozen. So they needed to settle on a decision: either tolerate the plumes of their companion or extinct from the Earth. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Wisely, the porcupines decided to go back to being together like before.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Along these lines they learned to live with the little injuries caused as a result of their close relationship with their companions, but the most important part of it, was the warmth they got from one another.This way they were able to survive again.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">The Lesson of the story: </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The best relationship is not the one that unites together perfect people, but rather the best is the point at which every individual figures out how to live with the imperfection of others and can respect the other individual's good qualities. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We can live as one only if we can tolerate our differences</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgY2CN4WwazTWmKiOo0M1qJHdgoCH32rZeKKg4UD6Yt8zXrnsp4xTjQfmMbYBPOKPcr9m_s0PEVHHsQVzRYbX-lsn8J1A1eV_tg0ayaGED5Pfa3e5TcKxmYuiBpC5QHoOQRttTIOrEY8lJn/s1600/attitude.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgY2CN4WwazTWmKiOo0M1qJHdgoCH32rZeKKg4UD6Yt8zXrnsp4xTjQfmMbYBPOKPcr9m_s0PEVHHsQVzRYbX-lsn8J1A1eV_tg0ayaGED5Pfa3e5TcKxmYuiBpC5QHoOQRttTIOrEY8lJn/s1600/attitude.jpg" /></a></div>
A young man fell into trance and met angel Gabriel at heavens gate, who toured him around the beautiful city. They walked side by side inside a large workroom filled with other busy angels. Angel Gab stopped in front of the first section and began to explain, he said, "This is the Receiving Section. Here, all the petitions to God said in prayer are received." The stranger looked at the section, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets from all the people of the world</div>
<a name='more'></a>.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
They continued the walk again until they reached the 2nd section, and Gabriel told the young man, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are packed and delivered to the persons who asked for them down on earth." The man saw how busy it was. There were so many angels working in that section, since so many blessing were being packed and delivered to Earth. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Finally at the farthest corner of the room, Angel Gab stopped at the last section. To the surprise of the young man, only one angel stayed there idly, doing nothing. "This is the Acknowledging Section," Angel Gabriel told the young man. "How is it that, there is no work here?" The man asked, "That's the sad thing," Gabriel answered. " The angels are suppose to be busy taking records of acknowledgements, after the people received the blessings they asked for, but very few send their acknowledgments." "How does one acknowledge God's blessing?" the man asked "Simple,"Gabriel answered. "Just say, "'Thank you, Lord ' from the debt of your heart.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<span style="color: red;">LESSON</span><br />
<span style="color: red;">Thanksgiving is a key, in the school of appreciation. if you know how to think, you can as well know know how to thank.</span><br />
<span style="color: red;">Appreciation is an application for more. If you thank God for his finger, then be ready to see his hands.</span><br />

He claims to be the most adventurous among others and liked to explore new places.<br />
<br />
One day he left his domain – the jungle – and ventured into a village in search of food. But unfortunate he was being chased by town dogs! The dogs snapped at his limbs with their sharp-pointed teeth, and terrified his heart with their dreadful barking, chasing him left and right.<br />
<br />
To save his head from this assault he ran into a dyer’s yard and fell into a vat of indigo dye. When he came out of the tub, he was colored blue and look scary so that the dogs could not recognize him. They ran away in panic. The jackal was sad at his misfortunes anyway, and thought he should go back to the jungle.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
The adventurous jackal came back to the jungle his real home but cause all the other animals to fright, at a glimpse of his awful body color, they ran as far and cried out in fear: “What is this creature enriched with that unknown colour?” They fled in panic and their eyes danced with terror, as everyone spread the report, “Oh, oh! there is an exotic creature in our jungle that has dropped from somewhere.”<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The jackal also scared, as he thought they might ganged up against him, thought fast and announced to all the other animals, “Don’t run away. Lord Artemis has crowned me your new king. Come back. I will protect all of you”.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On hearing this, the lions, tigers, leopards, monkeys, rabbits, jackals, and other species of wild life bowed humbly, saying: “Master, prescribe to us our duties.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Thereupon he appointed lion as his prime minister and tiger as his lord of the bedchamber, while leopard was made custodian of the king’s betel, elephant the doorkeeper, and monkey, the bearer of the kings palace. But to all the jackals, his own relatives and friends, he drove them away with the fear of getting caught. Thus he enjoyed the kingly glory, while lions and other animals brought food for him. Later he divided and distributed the food to all after the manner of kings.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
While time passed in this fashion, one night, as nature would have it when the jungle was absolutely still, the jackals who had been chased away, began howling. Hearing this, Jackal’s body was thrilled, his eyes were filled with tears of joy, he leaped to his feet, and true to his nature the false jackal king began howling along with his brothers.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When the lions and other animals heard this, they realized that he was a jackal. “Hey! Our king is only a jackal. We have been fooled. He shall die for this,” they cried in unison.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And when he heard this, he endeavored to flee, but was caught and torn in aggression by the ferocious animals.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Lesson;</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Warning! Trespassers will be given a blood transfusion as part of a birth day celebration in their honour</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
One day in the city of Lagos, a young applicant was invited for an interview. The next morning he dressed up and made headway.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He got to the bus terminal and unfortunately there were more passengers waiting than transit bus. Not knowing what to do as time was not at his side, he waited in anxiety.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
luckily after waiting for about 25minutes, a 14-seater bus turned-up, occupied with 10 passengers. </div>
<a name='more'></a>Five other passengers boarded, including the applicant who luckily secured the last seat. unfortunately among the passengers that strove to enter, an elderly woman could not secure a seat. she beckoned the driver to wait while she alight since there was no seat left, the applicant immediately stood up and ask her to sit while he stood inconveniently.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In a short while, the applicant bumped into the office when the interview had already commenced. Ashamed of his lateness, he sat cowardly as every eyes glued him. Coincidentally the elderly woman barged into the office and all the staffs conducting the interview including their boss who happened to be the son to the woman, all stood to honour her. Elated that his mother came visiting, the boss offered her a seat. And right that instance, the elderly woman noticed the young man who stood for her to sit in the bus and implored his son(The boss) to offer him the job after narrating his well-disposed manners towards her.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
To crown it all in a short while the young applicant was made the general manager of the company home and abroad.</div>

There was once a man whose private boat capsized on the high sea. He luckily swam to an island where no body lives. Though stranded he continued to live while praying every day for God to send him a helper. <br />
<br />
Months passed, no helper shew up. He felt disappointed and thought there was no God anywhere and learned how to survive on the island. To keep safe from wild animals and the cold weather, he constructed a hut where he stored up some food item he scavenge from the island.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
Much to his dismay, one day after hunting for food and returning back to his hut, he saw that his little hut has burnt along with everything else he owned, he only met the smoke. Unfortunately the only thing he had left were the clothes on him. consumed with anger, he raged and cried loud and threw his fist into the air, cursing and yelling; "Oh God how could you do this to me,I’ve been saying prayers everyday for months to be rescued from this plight, no rescuer shew up and now to worsen the scenario, everything I had got burnt! How could you do this to me! Why did you let this happen?” <br />
<br />
Just shortly after he has given up all hopes and sat idly,he looked up and caught a sight of a ship coming in his direction. He was later rescued and as they were heading back to land he asked the captain, “How were you able to find me?”<br />
<br />
The captain answered and said, “We were voyaging across the ocean when we noticed the smoke going up. We decided to trail and when we did, we found you!”.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: red;">LESSON<br /><br />In life we are going to be confronted with challenges, problems, and disasters. But always keep in mind that God sees and hear your prayers. Sometimes the situation you termed worse could only be a blessing in disguise. </span><br />
<span style="color: red;"> Even if you have lost anything, God is the reason you have not lost everything; he must leave you with something to thank him of.</span><br />
<span style="color: red;"> Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” Psalms 34:17-19</span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The

<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; line-height: 22.88px;">
A mouse who lived in a farmer's house peeped through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package. "What good might be this for the animals?" the mouse wondered. out of curiosity he found out what was in for them but was </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; line-height: 22.88px;">disappointed</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; line-height: 22.88px;"> to discover it was a mousetrap.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 22.88px;">Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning: "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!"</span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 22.88px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 22.88px;">The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said "Mr.Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it."</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 22.88px;"><br /></span></div>
</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 22.88px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 22.88px;">The mouse turned to the pig and warned "There is a mousetrap in the house!</span><br />
<a name='more'></a><span style="line-height: 22.88px;"> There is a mousetrap in the house!" The pig though sympathized, but said "I am sorry, Mr.Mouse, there is nothing I can do about it as it's a deliberate pointer to you and your household". </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 22.88px;"><br /></span></div>
</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 22.88px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 22.88px;">The mouse turned to the cow and said "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!" The cow laughed loud and said "Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you, but it's has got nothing to do with me because i can't and would never be accused of an act of pilfering."</span></div>
</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 22.88px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 22.88px;">So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's mousetrap alone.</span></div>
</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 22.88px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 22.88px;">shortly after when it was dark, a sound was heard throughout the house - like the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey. The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness, she did not see it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught. The snake bit the farmer's wife. The farmer rushed her to the hospital and she returned home with a fever.</span></div>
</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 22.88px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 22.88px;">Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient. But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock. To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 22.88px;">The farmer's wife did not get well; she died. So many! people came for her funeral, the farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide enough meat for all of them.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 22.88px;"><br /></span></div>
</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 22.88px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="line-height: 22.88px;">The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness. So, the next time you hear someone is facing a problem and think it doesn't concern you, remember: when one of us is threatened, we are all at risk. We are all involved in this journey called life. We must keep an eye out for one another and make an extra effort to encourage one another. </span></div>
</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 22.88px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red; line-height: 22.88px;">LESSON;</span></div>
</span></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red; line-height: 22.88px;">Each of us owe ourselves the duty to be our brother's keeper.</span></div>
<span style="color: red;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 22.88px;"></span></span><br /></span>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="color: red; line-height: 22.88px;">Don't be so selfish to live the entire life for your self. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJNcjWMlerb_q9CL5xjxgcjAre0k4QJ08WCNJS39DxWEZDJVYGhUijal9IPximSCAsxqilnhWYW7sYZRXoey6kcpTZ6JbezSCN_aHo-F4ldqvF_Q7irYlz9eWYoMFFda8cvoBiegn_aPJs/s1600/ugly.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJNcjWMlerb_q9CL5xjxgcjAre0k4QJ08WCNJS39DxWEZDJVYGhUijal9IPximSCAsxqilnhWYW7sYZRXoey6kcpTZ6JbezSCN_aHo-F4ldqvF_Q7irYlz9eWYoMFFda8cvoBiegn_aPJs/s1600/ugly.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A little shy duckling was always sad because he thought he was the ugliest among all his family. They scold, mock and teased the poor ugly duckling which made him timid and always wear long face. One day, he saw his reflection in the water and cried, “ How could i have been so ugly like this?Nobody wants me around, not even my friends. I am so unfortunate.” He decided to leave his environment and went far away into the woods.<br />Deep in the forest, the duckling thought he had found solace with an old woman, who had hen, dog and cat. He stayed with them for some time but he was unhappy there and soon left.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
He roamed idly in the thick forest. Rain came and got him drenched. A farmer took him home to his wife and children. The poor duckling was terrified of the children as they called him sort of names and bullied him. One morning he luckily escaped and settled in a marshy pond. <br />Finally, the sunny weather arrived. One day, the duckling saw a beautiful female swan swimming in the pond and fell in love with her. But then he had a flash back of those ugly times he was being scolded and mocked of his grotesque look and he bent his head down in shame. When he saw his own reflection in the water he was astonished. He was not an ugly duckling anymore, but a handsome young swan! Now, he knew why he had looked so different from his brothers and sisters. “They were ducklings but I was a baby swan!” he said to himself.<br />He summoned courage and approached the beautiful swan and soon they got married and lived happily ever after.<br /><span style="color: red;">Lessons</span><br /><span style="color: red;">Never allow anyone to make you feel you don’t deserve to live. Ignore their threat. Don’t be move by their flamboyancy and doings. Keep doing what you know best that would profit you.</span><br />
<span style="color: red;"> </span><br /><span style="color: red;">Fairy tales can come true. Ugly ducks can become beautiful swans. It only takes time.</span><br /><span style="color: red;"> </span><br /><span style="color: red;"></span>storyroutedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09654025467325265505noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8365763475798963969.post-56069041231992990432016-01-26T06:48:00.001-08:002017-11-28T22:29:06.735-08:00THE FOUR LEPERS STORY<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0SbU8ecnFgYh-4KzJCy_wrm-uIwvPhPo8maa0ZOCrsdCGkOy96tfFzWt-_QWygvFYxu3ERZ00Kpqbs1vxmd4hyphenhyphenFaXYTihB8fUTiFwJfP9svXmuvnF7KXU3l8Yqk2kLgfRKd1Y5Xj-PDW_/s1600/leper.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0SbU8ecnFgYh-4KzJCy_wrm-uIwvPhPo8maa0ZOCrsdCGkOy96tfFzWt-_QWygvFYxu3ERZ00Kpqbs1vxmd4hyphenhyphenFaXYTihB8fUTiFwJfP9svXmuvnF7KXU3l8Yqk2kLgfRKd1Y5Xj-PDW_/s1600/leper.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Once upon a time lived four lepers who sit at the gate of Samaria to beg.They were so popular and friendly that 10 out of every 100 passersby drops some coin in their bowl.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">As time went on, the city was besieged by their neighboring country men which resulted to famine in the land. No passerby had enough money to feed let alone <span style="font-family: inherit;">giving alms to these</span> famous beggars. Soon the lepers began to feel the pinch. They called themselves into a meeting and one of them said "This is death staring us in the face, are we going to remain here and starve to death?" Another insinuated "I think its better we go into the camp of our said enemies, as they may see us as mere lepers</span><br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"> and show us mercy, but even if they kill us, is it not better we die there; it is better to die in motion and receive a credit for dying in active service than to die here doing nothing" He added. So they agreed in one mind and forged into the camp of the Assyrians.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />Fortunately as they were approaching the gate of the Assyrians, God arose on their behalf and made their footsteps to sound like the noise of chariots and horses. The Assyrians soldiers heard it and all fled from their camp for safety, leaving everything behind. When the lepers got there they found the riches they will never encounter in their entire live time of begging. These include abundant food, gold, silver and expensive garments. They ate and took as much of what they want and broke the news to the king's house and the whole city of Samaria was saved from the siege and the famine just because some weak lepers decided to take a step, despite the risk involved.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: red;">LESSON ;<br />Do not let the fear of losses rob you of the potentials of tomorrow.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: red;"><br />Take a bold step and do it now; as the best time to do the right thing is even yesterday not now. Because you are already running behind time.</span></span></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfZfw7T1BG99dUtsCz9chIlLthu3h-prrQX7Nsr1XiLeJNsBo8SIqo5R08vhWL4-Z5rWt6yds64ZPY1qKNGzHTmdS_6x_ROWwgSENBT-Ry-wSMpRiFBJW505CG2HIO38D5eGdC07VYpld9/s1600/pig.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfZfw7T1BG99dUtsCz9chIlLthu3h-prrQX7Nsr1XiLeJNsBo8SIqo5R08vhWL4-Z5rWt6yds64ZPY1qKNGzHTmdS_6x_ROWwgSENBT-Ry-wSMpRiFBJW505CG2HIO38D5eGdC07VYpld9/s1600/pig.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Once upon a time there were three little pigs. One pig built a house of straw while the second pig built his house with sticks. And the third wisely built his house with bricks. <br />Two of the pigs built their houses very quickly and then sang and danced all day, making fun and mockery of the third pig who worked hard all day building his house with bricks. Finally the third pigs finished building his house and the three pigs could enjoy life.<br />A big bad wolf saw the two little pigs while they danced and played and thought,</div>
<a name='more'></a> “What juicy tender meals they will make!” He chased the two pigs and they ran and hid in their houses. The big bad wolf went to the first house, raged and blew the house down in minutes. The frightened little pig ran to the second pig’s house that was made of sticks. The big bad wolf ran after the little pig to this house, huffed and puffed and blew the house down in anger. Now, the two little pigs were terrified and ran to the third pig’s house that was made of bricks.<br />The big bad wolf in his fury this time got to the third pig's house and warned them to come out one after the other before he loosed his temper, but the pigs remained calm. He tried to huff and puff and blow the house down, but all effort was to no avail. He kept trying for hours but the house was very strong and the little pigs were safe inside. He tried to enter through the vent but the third little pig boiled a big pot of water and kept it below the chimney. The wolf fell into it and died.<br />The two little pigs now felt ashamed and sorry for mocking the pig who built his house with bricks. They regretted being lazy and built their houses with bricks and lived happily ever after.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;"><b>Lessons and morals</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">Whatever it ‘ll take to get the best out of live, go for it, do not play lazy or cut corners to get it done quickly.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">Kiyosaki asserted in one of his book that the poor tend to build their financial houses made of straw. The middle class built theirs made of sticks while the rich built their financial houses made of bricks. He then quotes what his rich dad advice-“to be a successful person in life, its okay to be slow but be sure you are building a house of bricks.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: red;">Slow and steady most times wins the race.</span></div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaFb7BcC8gjATyyqqhP0WpRRmqgFHmrNMb3OXEjMFDwxQEKrLQmD8fBhXx5KGnpL7kRcEOaPNW10gMpyP-SnJgKE2bMQRXGyHTCXVfvVeFz4qaSE7ssR97kK9HTixai1wUJVXajIhxL3fr/s1600/painter.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaFb7BcC8gjATyyqqhP0WpRRmqgFHmrNMb3OXEjMFDwxQEKrLQmD8fBhXx5KGnpL7kRcEOaPNW10gMpyP-SnJgKE2bMQRXGyHTCXVfvVeFz4qaSE7ssR97kK9HTixai1wUJVXajIhxL3fr/s1600/painter.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A young painting apprentice who had just completed his course under a great painter was so excited and enthusiastic that he wanted to show case his painting skill to the world for approval. He put all his effort and painted a beautiful scenery which took him three days to do.<br />
<br />
After creating the art work he decided to display it on a busy street-crossing of that small town close to where he resides.He had just one goal in mind; people’s opinion about his painting skills. And attached to the art work down below was a card board which read-”Good day passers-by, I have just painted this piece. I might have committed some mistakes while giving out my best for this project, Please put a cross wherever you see a mistake and if possible leave a comment.”</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
Later in the evening, he came back to check his painting but he was completely down cast to see that the whole canvass was filled with Xs (crosses) and some left their negative written comments on the painting.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Disappointed and frustrated completely he carried the portrait and cried to his master's home. Sobbing inconsolably he narrated the ordeal to his master and showed him the pathetic state of his creation which was filled with crosses and correction remarks.<br />
<br />
The young artist began to say negative things to himself ”I’m just so useless and couldn't make any good of what I've learn for three years.i don't think I’m worth becoming a professional painter. People have rejected my job completely. I hate my life”<br />
<br />
The master smiled, dragged him closer to his chest and gave him some words of encouragement. “My Son, I will prove that you are a great artist and have learnt a flawless painting.” he assured him.The young lad felt taunted and sorry for himself as he thought all hopes was lost.<br />
<br />
The master admonished him to do another job similar to what he just did, as he assured him there would be improvement this time around. The young artist reluctantly agreed and some days later replicated the painting job and handed it to his master. Master took that gracefully and smiled. ”Come with me.”he said. <br />
<br />
They got to that same busy spot where his work was rejected and displayed the same painting exactly the way the previous one was positioned. But this time around master took out another card board which read -”Good day passers-by, I have painted this piece. I might have committed some mistakes while working on this project. I have put a box with colors and brushes just below. Please do a favor. kindly pick up the brush and correct any mistake you noticed so far on this project”. The master and the young apprentice walked back home.<br />
<br />
They visited the same evening but to the young painter utmost surprise,no adjustment or correction was made so far. But master wasn’t satisfied as yet he told his disciple “May be we should leave it for another day as they may be too busy to do the correction, lets come the next day, so more correction would have come in, the master suggested.<br />
<br />
The next day again they visited and still found the painting remained untouched. The painting was kept there for a month and no correction was done.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<span style="color: red;">Moral<br /><br />It is easier to criticize, but difficult to improve.<br /><br />More so, criticisms are room for improvement</span></div>
