WHY DOGS WAG THEIR TAILS


Once upon a time in a certain place in Africa lived a king who owned two pets; a dog and a cat. Aside the kings guard, the cat and the dog were very useful to him. The dog had served the king quite some good years so he can be trusted with important errand, though very old. Cat the dog's companion was quite cunning but stronger and smarter.

The king had a daughter schooling at a convent some distance from home, and very often he sent the dog and the cat with presents to her.

One day he called the animals and sent them on an errand to convey a magic ring to his daughter.

"You hold the ring because you seem to be strong and smarter," the king said to the cat.

THE ANGRY COBRA STORY

A carpenter shut down his workshop after a day's job. A black wandering poisonous cobra entered his workshop.

The cobra was hungry and hoped to find its supper lurking somewhere within. It wriggled from one end to another and accidentally bumped into a double-edged metal axe and got slightly injured.

In anger and seeking revenge,  the snake bit the axe with full force. What could a bite do to a metallic axe? Instead the cobra's mouth started bleeding.

THE STORY OF THE THE DONKEY WHO ENVIED THE PIG


A farmer once had two morose looking donkey by name paka and pola in his farm. He also owned a little pig that used to live with the Donkeys. Paka and pola used to work very hard in the farmer’s field while the fat pig goes around doing nothing.

THE PREGNANT DOG AND ELEPHANT STORY



An elephant and a dog got pregnant at same time. In the space of 3 month the dog gave birth to six puppies. The dog took in again 6 month later  and in the 9th month gave birth to another dozen puppies. The pattern continued.

On the Eighteenth month the dog proud-fully approached the elephant and questioned,

A DINNER WITH GRAND PA

A young boy took his grand father to an eatery for a night supper. Grandpa being extremely old and weak, while eating, dropped some food on his shirt and trousers. Other dinners watched him in disdain while his boy quietly clean up the food particles hanging on his mouth with his towel. 

After he finished eating, the son who was not in any way embarrassed, gently lead him to the wash room, wiped the food particles, clean up the stains, brushed his hair and fitted his spectacles firmly.
