TheStory of The Bonded Donkey

On upon a time, lived a potter. In a small village, He had a donkey. Everyday his donkey would carry soil from the field to his house. Since the field was quite far off, the potter would rest under a tree midway, tying his donkey nearby.
One day, the potter forgot to take the rope along with which he used in tying the donkey. When he reached the tree, he thought, “How do I tie this donkey today? He might run away if I sleep. “The potter decided to tie down holding the donkey’s ears so that the donkey would not run away.
But this way neither the donkey was comfortable nor the potter was able to take rest. A saint, who happened to be passing by, saw the potter holding on to the donkey’s ears. Then the saint wanted to know what the problem of the potter was. When the potter told the saint what the problem was, the wise saint said, “Take the donkey to the place where you tie him every day. Pretend to tie him using an imaginary rope. I assure you he won’t run away.” The potter did what the saint had said.
He left the donkey and went to take a nap. When he woke up, to his surprise and relief, he found the donkey standing in the same place.
Soon the potter prepared to leave for home. But the donkey did not move. “What is wrong with this donkey!” exclaimed the potter in frustration.
Luckily, the potter saw the wise saint again. He ran up to the saint and told him about the donkey’s strange behavior. The saint said, “You tied up the donkey, but did you untie him?” Go and pretend to untie the rope with which you had tied the donkey.” The potter followed the saint’s advice.
Now the donkey was ready to leave for home. The potter understood that donkey was the bonded donkey. The potter thanked the wise saint and went home happily with his donkey.

The Wild Goose story

One day, two  amateur hunters saw a wild goose fly overhead. As one of the hunters placed an arrow in his bow and aimed it at the goose, he said, "That goose will make a fine stew."
"Stew?" asked the other. "It would be far better to roast it, what do you mean by stew"
"Stewed! after all i first saw the bird" said the first, putting down his arrow.
"Roasted!" replied the other.
The argument went on. "Let's ask our clan leader to decide the best way to cook that goose." The leader settled the argument by suggesting that when they caught the goose, half should be stewed and half should be roasted. In that way, everyone's needs would be met.
Pleased, the two hunters went out to shoot the wild goose, but by that time, the goose was  long gone . . .
 Moral;
Avoid unnecessary argument.
don't count your egg before it's been harshed

The story of the big bad wolf and the three little pigs

Once upon a time there were three little pigs. One pig built a house of straw while the second pig built his house with sticks. And the third wisely built his house with bricks
Two of the pigs built their houses very quickly and then sang and danced all day, making fun and mockery of the third pig who worked hard all day building his house with bricks. Finally the third pigs finished building his house and the three pigs could enjoy life.
A big bad wolf saw the two little pigs while they danced and played and thought, “What juicy tender meals they will make!” He chased the two pigs and they ran and hid in their houses. The big bad wolf went to the first house and huffed and puffed and blew the house down in minutes. The frightened little pig ran to the second pig’s house that was made of sticks. The big bad wolf now came to this house and huffed and puffed and blew the house down in hardly any time. Now, the two little pigs were terrified and ran to the third pig’s house that was made of bricks.
The big bad wolf tried to huff and puff and blow the house down, but he could not. He kept trying for hours but the house was very strong and the little pigs were safe inside. He tried to enter through the chimney but the third little pig boiled a big pot of water and kept it below the chimney. The wolf fell into it and died.
The two little pigs now felt sorry for having been so lazy. They too built their houses with bricks and lived happily ever after.

Lessons and morals

Whatever it ‘ll take to get the best out of live, go for it, do not play lazy or cut corners to get it done quickly.
Kiyosaki asserted in one of his book that the poor tend to build their financial houses made of straw. The middle class built theirs made of sticks while the rich built their financial houses made of bricks. He then quotes what his rich dad advice-“to be a successful person in life, its okay to be slow but be sure you are building a house of bricks.
Slow and steady most times wins the race.

Mr. mouthology

A Professor was traveling by boat. On his way he asked the sailor:
“Do you know Biology?",the sailor answered; No sir!The professor laughed,  and said 'you are a living dead boy".
After a while  he asked the sailor again, do you know Ecology? what about zoology, Geography, physiology?
The sailor said no to all his questions. The professor was so disappointed and scorned him saying;
What the hell do you know on earth. You will die in your ignorance...
But as nature would have it, storm caught up with them and the boat started waving and about to sink. The Sailor in turn asked the Professor, do you know swiminology & escapology from sharkology?
The professor said no i don't get you.
Sailor said “Well, sharkology & crocodilogy will eat your assology, headology & you will dieology because of your mouthology.

Moral;
Do not take unnecessary advantage over people even if you have an edge over them.

Angels visit

Two angels were traveling and stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family.

The family was rude and non receptive as they refused to let the angels stay in the mansion’s guest room. Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement.

As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, “Things aren’t always what they seem.”

The next day they continued their journey and at  night decided to  rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife.

After sharing the little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night’s rest while they managed on their cold floor without a carpet. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field.

The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel, “How could you have let this happen? The first man had everything, yet you helped him.” – she accused. “The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die.”

“Things aren't always what they seem.” – the older angel replied again.

“When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it. Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead. Things aren’t always what they seem.”
lesson;
Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don’t turn out the way they should.
We just have no reason to complain. if you complain you get issues complicated the more.
In everything give thanks to the almighty. If you thank God for his finger  you will witness his hands.
If at all you've lost anything, God is the reason you've not lost everything.
